You might want to stay clear of I-465 on Thursday, February 21 if possible. Around 11 AM, up to 500 semi trucks are expected to take to the highway for a”slow roll” according to WISH TV.
The protest is an attempt to bring awareness to new government regulations that many truck drivers see as unfair.
“Once they hit 465 and pull out, that’s where they’re going to do their slow roll. You know, 45 to 50 mph is what they’re going to be doing,” said Amber Furry, an Indiana truck protest organizer. Drivers will circle I-465 twice.
