Agape Pizza in Greenwood has only been open since December. But, in that time they’ve already done some pretty great things for the community.

The restaurant describes its service as “pizza with a purpose.” According to RTV6, owners Tom and Angie Wilhelmi donate a portion of their proceeds to Tear Down the Walls, which works with the homeless in the community.

Now the couple are in the running for a $50,000 grant from FedEx. The Small Business Grant contest awards 10 small businesses in the US with grants up to $50,000 according to the FedEx website.

With the grant money, the owners would replace broken/old equipment, purchase lighted signage and buy uniforms for employees.
