Who doesn’t love donuts?  Cake, Yeast, kreme-filled, glazed, sprinkles on top you name it and we want it in our bellies!  Energy 93.9 is excited to partner with Teachers’ Treasures this year for the Circle City Donut Dash 5K Presented by American College of Education.  The event is on February 16th at 9:00am and will kick off in the Teachers’ Treasures parking lot (1800 E. 10th St. Indianapolis, IN 46201)

The premier event is a donut challenge, which is the 5K and participants consume a dozen donut holes at the halfway point.  If you don’t have that big of a sweet tooth then the standard 5K includes Jack’s donuts, and coffee-infused beer from Sun King along with at Tito’s Vodka Bloody Mary in the post-race celebration!

Teachers’ Treasures is a not-for-profit that obtains and distributes school supplies free to teachers of students in need.  Every day at public, private, charter and parochial schools located throughout Marion County, children of all ages attend class without the most basic supplies they need to get a good education.  Dedicated teachers are often willing to pay for these much needed supplies out of their own pockets to make sure their classrooms have the necessary tools to learn.  On average, teachers spend $800-$1,200 a year on school supplies for their students.  Learn more HERE
